ITINERARY FIRST DAY

7:00 The trip starts in the city of Riobamba (2754 masl / 9035.433 ft), we pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the Penipe canton and then continue the trip to the base of the Altar snow-capped mountain (3000 masl / 9842.52 ft).
9:00 After preparing the equipment we started the 15 km hike to Sangay National Park in an average of 6 to 7 hours, once at the site, we set up the tents, prepare dinner and spend the night.

ITINERARY SECOND DAY

5:30 Breakfast
6:30 After breakfast we start with a 2:30 hour hike to the crater (Laguna Amarilla - 4100 masl / 13451.44 Feet). In the crater we have some time to take pictures and enjoy the scenery, and then descend to the camp or to the cabins.
12:00 We break camp and return to the base of the Altar in an average of 6 hours, at the base the vehicle awaits us to return to the city of Riobamba where we arrive at approximately 19:00.
19:00 In Riobamba we take you to the hotel and our services are completed.
