Visit the Quilotoa Lagoon: The Quilotoa is the volcano of the Ecuadorian Andes, with a crater located at 4000 m.a.s.l. and a caldera of almost 9 km in diameter. This is the product of the collapse of the volcano, which occurred about 800 years ago.

In this tour the visitor can visit the gallery of masks in the community of Tigua, visit the canyon of the Toachi river, make the trek to the 250 m deep lagoon, navigate in boats on the water mirror, make a high altitude horseback ride, taste the local cuisine, etc..

DETAILS

06:00: Departure from the city of Riobamba, we pick you up from the hotel where you are staying.

9:30: Visit to the Tigua mask gallery.

10:30: Descent to the lagoon and kayak ride.

12:00: Return to the community of Quilotoa (optional horseback riding - not included).

13:30: Lunch in the community.

14:30: Free time to buy handicrafts and visit the Quilotoa community.

16:00Return to the city of Riobamba and end of our services (Approximately 18:30).
